I need some color in my life…BADLY….I’m pretty much the token black chick now, when did this happen??!??!? I have never been even remotely close to that, ever and now I kind of am…I did my time of broadening my horizons and now I’m over it lol…I’m over going out and pretending to enjoy the techno mixes to some of my favorite ratchet songs and entertaining the off beat white guys that are memorized by my afro…over it! I wanna go to a house party and shake my ass and dance with dudes that look like me and sweat my hair out and ugh, i miss that! lol….
I had to make new friends down here cus the very few i did keep in touch with are like duds and never wanna do shit, but eat and go to the movies which is all well and good but not ALL the time. So when i made new friends it was a mix of races, again all well and good, but they are mostly white….the guy that im talking to has only met my new friends so he said: “you’re like the token black girl, you have a lot of white friends”…that has been ringing in my head for 2 days! He was like its ok, i have been the token black guy before but so what, this is not me! My new friends are gonna start thinking im antisocial cus im not going out with them anymore, i cant…where the hell am i gonna meet black ppl in south jersey, can i google that????
